It has been my privilege to teach many children over the years in multi-grade christian school classrooms. Children are the reason I teach. I believe that every child deserves an opportunity to learn in a safe and secure classroom. And children are given a chance to reach their full potential when they are appropriately challenged. But most of all I want children to become acquainted with my best friend Jesus and that happens best in a Christian School along with the home and church.

I grew up in the Midwest, spent some wonderful childhood years in Asia, then became a Northwestern during college and after marriage. But now I think California is pretty great. It has always been hard to leave wherever I have lived but the next place is always special. My husband and I have enjoyed raising three children and they have each added a wonderful spouse to our family. I enjoy my family, traveling, reading and learning about people, places and things.
