In the 7th and 8th grades, "We're Going Places." We will bookend the school year starting with a trip to Borders where we will find books we love, and ending the year with a trip to Washington, D.C., where we will experience first-hand our nation's most important historical sites.
We will be on a year-long journey of discovery-mainly of ourselves. We'll discover that we all have valuable opinions and experiences, and when we take time to understand what's important to each of us (and why), we can more easily accept each other's differences. We will learn to accept each other just as we are, just like Jesus does with us.
Mrs. Carpio is excited to share all the amazing things we'll experience together, and can't wait for the journey to begin. So sit back, buckle up, and enjoy the ride!
