Volunteer

Thank you for visiting our volunteer page. Foothill's academic and extra mural programs thrive with excellent volunteers. Throughout the year, we have well-qualified and enthusiastic volunteer groups on campus helping with sports and academic programs. Some volunteers are also able to earn volunteer credits for their school or workplace. Others simply love working with children. Not only do the school and volunteers benefit from our program, but most importantly, the students benefit from learning different skills from all types of teachers who can reach them in a special way.

Foothill is looking for volunteers in the following areas:

  • Art instruction and projects
  • PE help
  • Music helpers (choir, bells)
  • Recess duty
  • Literacy fluency (reading and writing)
  • Math tutoring (grades 1-4 or 5-8)
  • Softball coaches
  • Basketball coaches
  • Soccer coaches
  • Flagball coaches
  • Archery coaches
  • Volleyball coaches
  • Gymnastics coaches
  • Grading helpers
  • Classroom helpers

Please contact the office for a volunteer application if you or someone you know is interested in helping. Volunteer credit hours are available as well as community service opportunities.

At Foothill we always put the safety of our children first. For this reason, anyone wishing to volunteer at Foothill must complete an online background check as required by the Central California Conference of Seventh-Day Adventists. The background check is completed through
Sterling Volunteers.
